Waves
04:15
|
|||
I exist as the poetry
That hangs above your head
That you recite
Before you go to bed
Now every movement feels stunted
Shredded muscle memory
Discontent
I'm lost to the sea
My heart beats dependently upon the way the waves crash on a jagged shore line
In which i live
I throw my blessings to the sea
Wishing the tide would over-encumber me
Would encumber me
Torn petals
Leave behind
A sweet last breath
A poem to their end (x2)
(I am the way the waves crash)
Sometimes
The ocean greets me
It yearns in a deafening silence only I can hear
Yet
(I am the way the waves crash)
The body language of a giant is foreign to me
In my eyes
I can feel how you move
(I am the way the waves crash)
But you're scarred in sacred scripture that has never broken the shore
Anxiously
You shadow whats inside to protect
(I am the way the waves crash)
Your damp eyes
From another starless night
I exist as the poetry
That hangs above your head
That you recite
Before you go to bed
Now every movement feels stunted
Shredded muscle memory
Discontent
I'm lost to the sea
My heart beats dependently upon the way the waves crash on a jagged shore line
In which i live
I throw my blessings to the sea
Wishing the tide would over-encumber me
Would encumber me
Torn petals
Leave behind
A sweet last breath
A poem to their end (x2)
I am the way the waves crash
(Throw me to the sea) (x4)
Torn petals
Leave behind
A sweet last breath
A poem to their end (x4)
I am the way the waves crash (x9)

Unravel Me
03:02
|
|||
How come the sun is always setting above the horizon
But the dark never comes
Perpetually In the midst of an ending
Memories always forgetting
I feel undone
My mind drifts in my sleep
With all the words to say x4
My mind drifts in my sleep
With all the words to say x4
I can’t speak
Mislead by a mask on a faceless being
New beginnings can be so deceiving x2
I lost my fuckin’ mind
Tryna figure out why
Who am I to blame
Every fleeting moment is destined to destroy
I’ve become compulsive over thoughts that shouldn’t matter anymore
I’ve found comfort in the darkness
But lately, the dark never comes
Feel the cold extract the heat from your hands
There’s peace in these moments
The ones that we can both grasp
My life went from colors to undertones of grey
I’m a leaf in its decaying stage
How come the sun is always setting above the horizon?
But the dark never comes
Perpetually in the midst of an ending memories always forgetting
I feel undone

Through the Rain
03:52
|
|||
A hardship that gave you more strength in the end
Youve seen the truth
but you don't understand
If they can't handle whats real
Life begins to feel like a shattered shield
Take solace in my bloody wings
Ill sing for you sweet
Fly on burnt wings
Fly on burnt wings
Teach me the parallels between our arteries
Ill offer the difference drawn between
my heart
and worn capillaries
With light in my eyes
turnt away
A created blindness
Retinas strained
A longing gray
sought through rain
Teach the ways you twist my blood stream
Ill offer a way to get out
of this day dream
Just believe me
With light in my eyes
turnt away
A created blindness
Retinas strained
A longing gray
sought through rain
Bless the blade
That stains our name
Shred the roses
Sought through the rain (x2)
What am I more than my best poetic expression that I can put into words

Desolate & Blind
04:04
|
|||
Close your eyes
Let us see our lives
Black on blue
Purple and bruised
We regret our life through the rearview
The push and pull between me and you
Separated by several syllables of the views of us two
The lines between you and I become blurred
As our
beings begin to entwine
Toxic masochistic inseparable love
It was holy
It was divine
Im left (x2)
Desolate and Blind
Hallow me
Hallow, we
Her being was art
How easily it tore me apart (x2)
Down, drown
You wouldn't make a sound (x2)
I felt like I could've
And should've
Spiraled down as I was
About to drown as I was (x2)
Drown
